Greetings to all in the precious name of the Firstborn of the Virgin Mary.
Here's hoping that everyone is doing well and preparing to enjoy a blessed Christmas celebration despite the conditions under which such celebration may be held. Once we remind ourselves of the true meaning of the season and give God praise for loving rebellious humanity enough to give His only begotten Son for our salvation, we should have a very Merry Christmas.
With the political uncertainty hanging over our United States coupled with the discovery that the Covid -19 virus is mutating, we all feel a sense of anxiety and concern for the future. So much is currently happening around the world that point to the fulfillment of bible prophecy. This morning, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu greeted his nation's Christian community. Despite being a Jew and not therefore ascribing divine origin to the New Testament, the Prime Minister quoted the angelic message on the night of Jesus' birth. ".....Peace on earth and goodwill toward men." Netanyahu stated that the recent and ongoing peace overtures that the world has witnessed between Israel and some of her historical Muslim enemies is certainly a fulfillment of the angelic prophecy. While Israel is living in an environment of growing peace, Iran, Turkey and Russia are poised to ensure that sense of tranquility is short-lived. In fact, you may have already heard that 150 democrats in congress are urging potential President Biden to have the United States rejoin the Iran Nuclear Deal. What a horrible display of anti-Semitism. But, may the possible incoming US President know and understand that none other than God Himself is the "Shomer Yisrael" - the watchman over Israel. I'm sure you are all aware of the rumored stepping down of Pope Francis as head of the International Roman Catholic church. His resignation may take place even before year's end. Could his successor be the 'false prophet' of the book of Revelation? Just saying!
There is so much to share with you by way of bible prophecy, but I would prefer to close this message by wishing everyone a very Happy and Christ-filled Christmas from the Chandroo family as we all look forward to a blessed 2021.
Just a Thought
Pastor Chandroo
